Chris Nakamura was a rookie cop patrolling the neon-lit streets of LA. Of mixed heritage, his features often drew the unfair ire of his colleagues, a painful reminder of the systemic racism within the force. Over time, he admired the acceptance of race on the streets compared to the prejudice on the force, which led him to seek a deeper connection to his Japanese heritage.

An opportunity arose in the form of an undercover job. He was tasked to infiltrate the Minosaki Clan, but what he found was far from the stereotype he imagined. Instead of uncovering wild thugs operating underground, he discovered a group bound by honor, respect, and a sense of community he had longed for.

Abandoning the police force, Chris adopted the crimson and black insignia of the clan and a new name. The clan calls him Kit, in and out of battle. As a specialist, he’s always prepared thanks to extensive training on the force. His readiness is more than a role, it’s his identity and constant effort to prove himself to the clan and to dispel the lingering ghosts of his past.

Now, as Kit navigates the underworld of LA, he's driven by the principles he learned from the Minosaki Clan. He fights not out of duty to the law, but to the family he found within the clan. And while he confronts the prejudices of his past, he also works tirelessly to earn the respect of his peers, a young specialist carving his place in a world far removed from the one he once knew.
